Click To Enlarge Picturewill be celebrating it's 50th Anniversary the weekend of June 21-22, 2003.  We are planning a 2-day celebration.  On Saturday the membership will have a private remembrance dinner for current members, past members and other community residents.  Click To EnlargeOn Sunday we will have a public celebration, including live entertainment, rides, games, food, silent auction and a bake sale.  Sunday events include a free concert with music by Randy Lee Ashcraft and the Salt Water Cowboys culminating with a fireworks show at sundown.Click To Enlarge

 

 

The Girdletree Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. celebrated it's Click Here To Enlarge50th Anniversary the weekend of June 21-22, 2003.  It was estimated that over 3,000 people attended the Sunday, June 22nd event in which kids of all ages played games, enjoyed food, bought souvenirs, enjoyed music by Randy Lee Ashcraft and the Saltwater Cowboys and watched an outstanding fireworks display at sundown.
